I am happy to report that Royal Prestige reached out to my mother and finally agreed to pick up the filter and closed the account. Thank you for your help in getting this issue resolved successfully.

I am filing a claim with the BBB against Royal Prestige.

The tactics that this company is using via their field distributors or sales teams are unconceivable and they need to be STOPPED.

My mother was home alone when a man knocked on her door to tell her she had won a serving spoon. She naively opened the door and the man started telling her that her health is important and that she needed to get a filter for water.

The man used what she described as harassment to get her to sign up for the filter which costs her $100 per month which is something she can't afford. She repeatedly told him she is retired and doesn't work and couldn't sign up for that to no avail.

She was closed to getting rid of the man and a SECOND man walked into the door and these two men double teams my mom to get her to sign up for something she couldn't afford.

She says that they seemed to have a form of operation set up because of how they approached her about wining the spoon to then having the other man come in to close the deal.

When she received a call from the verifications department, she told the rep that she didn't want it because she couldn't afford the monthly payments. One of the men picked up my mother's cell phone, dialed the number and basically forced her to say that she wanted the filter.

We have been calling consistently to try to return the filter and cancel the order that was forced upon my mother and have told over and over again that it is impossible to cancel the order and she will be responsible for the cost of the filter which is close to $2K.

This company allows their sales people to use harassing sale practice and pry on the elderly and weak and that is unacceptable.

I am sure my mother is not the only one that fell for this scam.

I don't understand how this company can continue this horrible business practice.

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

Preferred solution: Cancellation of the order and for the company to pick up their filter and for those people to DELETE my mother from their prospect//harrassing target.
